How to get RICA Ready
10 September 2018
What does RICA mean
Regulation of Interception of Communication Act is a law that has been passed by the South African government that makes it compulsory for everyone to register all new and existing cellphone numbers. It’s there to protect legitimate users in a time of fraud or criminal activity and it helps law enforcement to identify users and track criminals using cellphones. Imaginet has to abide by this law and all SIM cards we send out must be RICA certified before you take delivery.
