Backing up your emails

Click here to read everything you need to know about email backups.

Email backups are very important. Creating and sticking to a good backup plan can benefit you in the following ways:

  • Reduced hosting expenses. By not storing all your old email on a mail server, you'll use far less disk space, thus reducing your hosting costs.
  • Compliance. The ECT and POPI Acts require that you secure your clients' information in a secure encrypted manner.
  • Disaster recovery. With a proper 3-2-1 backup strategy your emails will be safe from loss due to loadshedding, ransomware, accidents, PC failure, and unforeseen tragedies like fires or natural disasters.

With a combination of Imaginet's Hosting and Cloud Backup services, you can take care of all of these concerns at once.
